Yesterday saw the season seven premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones, and a record-breaking 16.1 million viewers tuned in to follow the fates of their favorite characters for another season of blood and betrayal.
But they also tuned in for another reason, namely to see global megastar musician Ed Sheeran make his much anticipated cameo. The “Shape of You” singer appeared in a scene with Arya Stark while dressed in a suit of armor, but while he may have been a shining Knight for some, others on Twitter weren’t quite so convinced by Sheeran’s random foray into the world of Westeros.
